It is always so wonderful to help couples bring their vision to life, and Megan and Ben were no exception! The couple, who met at a Fourth of July pool party, designed a wedding day full of personal details and purposeful choices, from the food they served to the moment they first saw each other on the big day.

Situated in the heart of Denver's RiNo district, Blanc is a seriously cool venue. The interior is filled with natural light and plenty of exposed brick, while the outdoor area is unexpectedly lush — the perfect combination for this modern, organic wedding! Amy and Bryan loved the feel of Blanc and opted for a black-and-white palette that reflected design elements of their venue and its artsy neighborhood. The colors carried into the invitations and signage, designed by one of Amy's bridesmaids (Amanda, with From A to Z Studio), as well as decor accents such as their hexagonal place settings. 

Tomorrow (Valentine's Day) I kick off my 2018 Wedding Season! I couldn't be more excited for the incredible year to come and the amazing couples I have the privilege to know and work with! And to kick off an amazing year, I saw tonight that a Calligraphy Installation I designed for an amazing couple was featured on Martha Stewart Weddings!  What an incredible honor!

We loved planning this wedding at Crooked Willow Farm for these two lovebirds. Its adorable red and white buildings and the verdant countryside served as the backdrop for the couple's outdoor ceremony. The bride chose a flowing chiffon wedding dress and carried a blush bouquet of Cafe au Lait dahlias, Juliet roses, and lisianthus. For her bridesmaids, long dresses in a soft palette of blush, gray and taupe were chosen. 

I am so excited to announce a new series on my blog featuring amazing vendors who help create stunning Colorado weddings!  My first guest is an extremely talented photographer, Sara Lynn.  She focuses on film photography utilizing natural light.  One of her strengths is helping couples with posing during portraits, making sure that the photography looks natural but that couples look their absolute best!

This couple wanted a dramatic lakeside wedding and Piney River Ranch in Vail, Colorado, fit the bill perfectly. The overall design for the wedding was kept organic and nuetral. The bride wore a flowing a-line gown and carried a bouquet by Petals and Pours of roses, scabiosa and olive branches down the aisle. For her 'maids', tea length dresses in nude by Emma and Grace were worn in a few styles. Surrounded by rugged mountains and forest, this couple exchanged vows in an intimate dockside ceremony. Afterward, the couple enjoyed a canoe ride around the lake.

The stunning Villa Parker located just outside Denver made the perfect backdrop for this Tuscan wedding inspiration shoot. For the bride, we picked two looks, the first an elegant satin Romona Keveza wedding gown with an asymmetrical bodice from Felice Bridal. The bouquet, designed by Bella Lu Floral, featured a color palette of rich marsala paired with soft blush accents.

Buena Vista, Colorado is the perfect Mountain town for your wedding!  And this private ranch is the perfect venue for your intimate, tented wedding.  Your guests will gasp over the views and you'll love being able to create a completely unique wedding that is all your own!

This engagement session was about capturing intimate moments between the couple and the romance of being engaged. Set in the garden of a private estate, we styled a dessert and champagne picnic complete with mini donuts and fine libations. The bride, Ciana, brought a copy of Shakespeare's complete works, which was something the couple had bonded over while dating. Her dress from BHLDN kept with the romantic theme, with its flowing shape. A loose garden bouquet by MJM Designs featured ranunculus and scabiosa. And an old ski lift that sits in the garden made for a fun photo op and nodded to the outdoorsy nature of the couple.
